Sleeping problems persist

June 2nd, 2009

Ella was doing well for awhile sleeping in her bed. And she still sleeps in there for naptime, but it’s been about a week since she stayed the night in there. Oh well, at least she goes to sleep in our bed. And by that I mean she’s not up doing who knows what. I’ve found her in various states in her own room including:

  1. Completely in the buff.
  2. Moving all her stuffed animals from her big toy basket to her bed.
  3. Asleep on the floor.
  4. And lastly, once last week, I checked on her and she wasn’t there! My heart about stopped – but luckily I quickly realized right where she’d be … in our bed.

So, anyway, we’re having a nice week. It’s raining but I love it. I think we’ll go to the mall today and spend some time walking and at the carousel.

I finally bought a calendar for my purse and just wrote a bunch of plans and to-do lists in it. Currently I have a work calendar that I carry in my laptop bag, but it’s too big for my purse. Then I have a calendar in my kitchen for my personal plans, then I have a random to-do list I stuff in a pocket or my purse some days. Not very organized. And I’ve missed more hair appointments than I care to say. So, I think this new medium calendar for my new purse (just ignore that part honey!) will be a good solution. Isn’t my life exciting?
