Some of my favorite recent photos
You may have seen some of these on Facebook or even a text from me, but I want them to be immortalized on my blog (which I hope to turn into a keepsake book for my kids one day.) So here they are…
Just a cute picture of Eva at home. And I love this corduroy jumper. It was London’s. Then Ella wore it to my dad’s surprise 60th birthday party. Funny how my memory is sharp when it’s comes to my girls and clothes.
A sweet moment on a hike at Vandolah Nature Preserve one Sunday this fall.
Probably one of our last jacketless days for a while.
My girls running with their little friend Mara. She’s the perfect little friend — being right between the girls’ ages so they both love her.
Ella and her cousins are getting so big.
This girl isn’t still for a minute, so sometimes photos aren’t all the way in focus. She tried on a lot of glasses when I went for a fitting at the eye doctor this week.
And the coat. I love this red coat from Grandma. And Eva even likes it!
2011 preschool photo. Love, love it. She’s wearing a dress her friend Bryn gave to her. She loves this dress and asks to wear it constantly. I wasn’t sure if it was the dress or because she looks up to Bryn. I think it’s a little of both.

Ella decided to write down all her friends’ names on a piece of paper one morning while we were driving. (She had me spell all their names.)
I don’t know what is more awesome, the fact that she has so many friends, that she turned their names into a cool little piece of art, or that she added mom, dad and Eva to the list. That kid is so cool.
(OK, I guess she added berry snacks to the list too, but still …)

I love my Mac Book for many reasons. One is that it has a little program called Photo Booth. With it’s built in camera you can take pictures or videos of whomever is placed in front of your computer. You can do a single frame photo or 4 frames, like a real photo booth! Others at my home have grown to love it too:

Our girls have always interacted with each other and loved each other, but every now and then I catch them really playing together, and it’s awesome. Hopefully as Eva gets bigger they will play together more and more.
I think Ella is explaining the rules to Eva here as she listens carefully.
And the rules are: I throw the piece of chalk and you go run and get it. I guess Ella is playing fetch with Eva.
This is actually a very appropriate game as Eva has been pretending she is a dog a lot lately. She LOVES dogs.
A refreshing post-fetch snack is best when shared.
I couldn’t resist taking a photo of those little feet.
Getting so so big.
I know I will miss these popsicle, running-around-the-backyard days in just a few months.
