Budding photographer
Ella loves to take photos. Which is no surprise because her parents love to too. I can’t help but let her use on own camera too even though she’s already broken it once. Her Diego one just doesn’t seem good enough.
Love that she always takes photos of her feet too.
Darn moles.
Love her shadow she captured.

One of our favorite things to do on a nice day is to walk to one of our subdivision parks, then feed the fish in the pond. Lately we take the big wagon and I love that Eva’s big enough for it and Ella will even pull it sometimes. It’s not a big park, but Ella is always hoping to run into some neighborhood kids, and we do about half of the time. And we all love feeding the fish. There are a lot of them and they are so hungry they practically jump up on shore to get the bread crumbs. It’s very entertaining.
Eva likes to nibble on the bread too.
Look closely and you will seem them.

I’ve been on a blogging freeze lately but I’m here to say that I’m back. In my head I wanted to do a really great post about Ella starting preschool, so everytime I went to blog that seemed a little daunting for the little amount of free time I have lately. But I’ve finally realized — something is better than nothing, right? Besides, I’m not exactly shooting for a Pullitzer here, this is meant to be an online journal for me, my family and anybody else who wants to keep up with our lives. So I’ve compiled some recent photos and written very short summaries which will be posted the next couple days. My hubby let me in on a tip: You can actually schedule when you want posts to publish, rather than posting them all on the same day. Genius. So, come back soon, there will be a lot to see in the coming days…

I admit I’m a little jealous that Ella wants to sit by her daddy at lunch time and dinner time, and on his lap during movies. Is he the “fun one?” But I’ve decided that having a husband who loves to be with his girls and girls that love their dad is not really a problem I should worry about.
And I’m still #1 for kissing boo boos.
