Little artist

Ella and watercolored for awhile last night and she gets so into it. I really can’t think of something else that she seems so focused on for so long. Maybe she will be an artist. But time came to put it all away and she cried and cried. So, I said “OK.” Paint some more. I don’t know why I was trying to hurry her anyway. We had a whole hour before bedtime. Then in like five minutes she stood up on her chair and said “Done mommy.” I guess she just was not quite finished with her masterpiece just yet.

A friend of mine actually bought real painting canvas, and let her children (2) paint them with acrylic paints (outside of course) and has them hanging in her living room. They are adorable, and she put a little caption under it like in a gallery with the age, date, and child’s name. I may do that with my three this summer, could be fun!
