When do I get a day off?
I’m tired today. Not sleepy tired, but just sorta exhausted. Wish I could lay around in my pajamas all day. By myself. A day off … of work and kids.
I think I did too much yesterday. Made whoopie pies, got halloween decorations out, 3 meals, cleaned for an hour, played outside, did and put away laundry …
Luckily the kids have been really sweet lately. I mean, I would not recommended taking my two-year-old out to lunch or grocery shopping anytime soon if you want to keep your sanity. But at home, they are quite fun, dancing, kissing, hugging, silly girls.
This morning Ella watched She-ra before we left the house. Funny she likes these old cartoons. She kept showing Eva how she could pause it if Eva got scared. Eva just would stare blankly at her, probably wondering what in the world she’s talking about.
That’s all. Nothing witty or exciting to report. Just waiting for my day off.

I’m loving all the wedges and booties out this season and the other day I tried a coat on at H&M that I can’t stop thinking about … I can’t get it all, but here is my wish list right now:
I love the shape of this coat from H&M. And I think it would look good with almost any color of hat/scarf/ and gloves.
I think these would be cute with skinny jeans or bootleg jeans.
Oh I love this foldover boot. But it is unlikely I will get these as I see myself wearing them the least of these things.
Love the look of this bootie. May be too high of a wedge for me though.
I think this would be a great little bootie to pair with tights for work!
*All shoes are from Payless, except foldover boots, which are Old Navy.

7 years ago today I had the perfect wedding day in Palm Springs, California. I think we proved we make a great team even back then with that awesome wedding weekend we planned. And what an awesome husband and dad you are today, babe! I love you!

Last week my high school friend and her three children visited us a few nights while she helped her mom move back into town.
It was great seeing her. And our kids had so much fun together too. Strangely my daughter and one of hers share a birthday too!
This is how I will remember her baby. He was tired a lot from the trip.
Cupcakes + frosting + sprinkles = 3 happy girls
Just one of the girls.
Works of art.
I love that Ella is big enough to play some big kid games, like Uno Attack.
In the middle of it all, I did a four-mile Fort4Fitness walk with my sister and girlfriend. So glad I did. It was a lot of fun.
Fall fest at Saloman Farm was next. We managed to get in a hay ride, a barrel ride and saw some animals before we got rained out. What a busy and fun week!
