Oh how I missed you, Internet
I’ve been out of town for about a week now … on a vacation on a beach in North Carolina. So I apologize about the gap in blogs and the lack of warning, but something tells me I shouldn’t announce to the world when I’m about to leave my house empty and where I’m going. Not that we don’t have very CLOSE, STRONG NEIGHBORS watching our house. And you know some of them even have bebe guns.
Anyway, I’m very happy to be home although it was a lovely, relaxing time. And we did have to take off a day early due to a little storm called Hannah coming for us, but, man I’m glad to be home. And I’m so behind on blog reading. I’m trying to catch up but it seems like I’ve missed so much! One blogger I read had a baby, my sister’s become a runner, the prego bloggers are buying cribs, even a new car … Ah, it’s so good to be back to Internet land. As we got close to home my husband said ” I just can’t wait to see my three monitors and get on the Internet.” I pretty much felt the same way. Even if I just have one small monitor.
Anyway, there’s loads of stuff to put away, and I’m tired. You know I’ll tell you more later though. And of course there are a ton of photos.

I love that my running for 3 mintues has qualified me to be a “runner”. Thanks for that…it’s a moment I’ve been dreaming of for years. I’m glad you guys had a safe trip and avoided the hurricane. Welcome home, and happy laundry.
When I started running a few years ago, I only ran for like a minute at a time, so to me you’re doing really well! I did the couch to 5 k program – check it out at http://www.couch25k.com if you want a structured plan that’s for newbies.
Hi Erin. You don’t know me, but I am good friends with Misty Welter. We lived in Overland Park, KS for three years and I am part of the Ladies Lounge group that goes to the lake multiple times a year, if you hear her talk about that. I am now living in Cincinnati and still keep up with my Kansas friends on a regular basis and have made it ot visit a couple of times since moving to OH a year ago. She told me about your blog and I have been keeping up with it! Just wanted to introduce myself and let you know I am out here.
