The inquisitive years
July 1st, 2010
I think Ella has reached the age where she has a lot of questions. And I mean a LOT. Here’s a sampling of what she asked me on our drive this morning:
- Are all husbands dads?
- Are girls husbands?
- Eva’s thumbs are smaller than mine right?
- Is that the road over there?
- Are we going to see grandma today?
- What is a question? (After me mentioning that she asks good questions!)

Welcome to my world. They get complicated quick too. I’m starting to make up some of my inforamtion. I wonder if we can use Wikopedia as a parenting tool?
Here’s a sampling of questions at my house:
Why don’t babies have teeth?
Do only mean people have mean dogs?
Are pecans nice? (pecans = peacocks)
Ha ha. That is funny Sara. It’s already gotten tricky. I feel like I’m playing a constant game of outburst. Trying to define something without using a whole bunch of other words that will lead to a string of new questions.
