Nano bugs
Having a computer/science/geeky (I say that with love) husband means your kids will play with things like Nano bugs. Or hex bugs? Not sure what the official title is, but they are little electronic “bugs” that race around a track that you can set up in various configurations. They’re pretty entertaining I have to say. Both girls love them.

I really love reading blogs. There are just a handful I read regularly but the ones I do I really love. I’ve probably mentioned them before, but at the risk of being repetitive I’m going to do it again.
Adventures in Babywearing. The photos of this mom’s kids make me want to have more kids. She takes photos of the four of them on the fourth of each month and they are so stinking cute and look like they have so much fun together. She’s also very poetic in her writing too, and it doesn’t hurt that she puts her daughter in the cutest clothes I’ve ever seen.
What I Wore. This fashion blog is by a girl from Fort Wayne. But honestly I did not even know that until I had been reading her for awhile. She always look so feminine and fresh, but she seems to mix thrift/used clothing a lot with new, so she never seems super trendy, just original. She also just came out with a book and is doing a signing in Fort Wayne August 10. Hoping I can go if it works out.
KendieEveryday. This is another fashion post. This girl has great style. She is very good at mixing old and new too and she has done a few 30 for 30 challenges, which are fun. Basically she picks out 30 items and has to choose from only those for 30 days. Also she is HILARIOUS.
Better than Bland. This is a mix of fashion and life I would say. But this girl is so cute. And I like her style a lot. It seems kinda east coast to me, maybe I’m wrong about where she is from though. Also, her recent pictures from New York have me very excited …
So anyway, just thought I would share some of the love. I’m a little addicted to fashion blogs honestly. I think I would do one if I didn’t take such terrible photos!

We had another good day today. I think our best days are our busy days.
We had a trip to Target – for really no reason but to kill time and I picked up a few art/craft supplies. Love those back-to-school sales!
Then we went to Bounce Mania. It’s a giant room full of bounce houses. I was glad I brought my socks today so I could get in with the girls. Ella was even brave today and kept going up and down the huge slide. It is very tall and steep! I even braved it holding Eva. Very fun!
Ella had several friends by the end of our time there plus the few we knew already. Good day!
During nap/quiet time I ran and got my hair cut and eyebrows waxed. Having a husband who works at home has some perks. There are some downfalls too though – such as him being able to work ALL the time!
So, we’re getting closer to our trip … still a little anxious about leaving the girls and putting so much on my mom, but hopefully everyone will have fun!

It’s really sinking in that summer won’t be here for a lot longer. Ella has less than a month before preschool starts. And preschool is only 3 hours 3 days a week, but still, that really takes up a lot of those days. And with Eva’s naps and Ella being tired after school, we don’t always do something on school days.
So we’re going to make the most of it. I filled up the kiddie pools yesterday and today we used them again. The girls ate a ton of strawberries we picked up at Sam’s Club after Ella’s gymnastics class this morning.
I even put my bathing suit on and got in the pools and then played squirt gun tag. It was pretty fun!
Eva’s suit was wet, so she happily played in her swim diaper.
Throwing water over someone’s head will never get old to Ella.
I kinda wish I had a pool with slide my size.
