Yummy
You know those photos people always have of their baby with food all over their face? Maybe it’s just me but I never found those particularly cute or funny. Until it was my own baby. And now that Eva is starting to enjoy some finger food on her own, I’m reliving it all over again. And I know now it’s not really the messiness that’s cute but it’s watching her have a whole new experience for the first time and loving every minute of it. Wish I could really capture it.
Sometimes it’s best if she’s just not wearing anything.
First spaghetti. Yum.
Who doesn’t love ice cream?

This weather sure is refreshing. The days are still sunny and warm and the nights are so nice and cool. The air has been off and the windows open for days. I hope it sticks around for a little while.

One of our favorite things to do on a nice day is to walk to one of our subdivision parks, then feed the fish in the pond. Lately we take the big wagon and I love that Eva’s big enough for it and Ella will even pull it sometimes. It’s not a big park, but Ella is always hoping to run into some neighborhood kids, and we do about half of the time. And we all love feeding the fish. There are a lot of them and they are so hungry they practically jump up on shore to get the bread crumbs. It’s very entertaining.
Eva likes to nibble on the bread too.
Look closely and you will seem them.

I kept Ella home from preschool today and canceled a post-preschool lunch with friends because both girls had fevers yesterday. Total bummer. We were looking forward to those things.
The girls aren’t too bad today – I, on the other hand, am feeling a little sick. Now, I need to figure out how to keep us all entertained today at home …
