9 months

October 1st, 2010

Eva had her 9 month appointment this week and she’s still a tiny girl. At 17 pounds she’s in the 20th percentile for weight (80 percent of babies her age are bigger). And she’s only in 8 percent for height. No worries though. They say that’s just who she is. She has always been very petite. And she’s very active. I don’t think it will be long before she can walk …

Petite kids often catch up. Our oldest was about 17-18 pounds at one year and really delicate looking. I thought she was probably going to be a wispy person. She now, at 31, is about 5’8 or 5’9 and very athletic. It’s amazing how they grow and change but even at 9 months have their own personality!!

Very interesting Grace! I just assumed that meant she will always be small. Guess you never know!
