Rough night

January 9th, 2010

It’s a really good thing babies are so cute and lovable, because mine gave me an exhausting night. Went to bed at 11, right after last feeding. Then up for feedings at 12:30, 2:30, 4:30, and then at 5:30 when she wouldn’t go back to sleep I escaped to Ella’s room and Steve gave Eva a bottle of formula that she sucked down. She had just finised nursing!

So, I am praying that she’s going through a growth spurt and we don’t get into the habit of waking up every 2 hours. Oy.

I’m sorry to hear about your sleepless night. Those are the roughest for sure. If I remember correctly week 2 or so is a natural “growth spurt” time. So maybe that was what all the fuss was about from last night.
Wishing you a better night of sleep, and enjoying your updates!

Two weeks is definitely supposed to be a growth spurt! Hang in there and it will get better! Before you know it, she will be sleeping through the night and you will be getting some much-needed rest!
