Too cute

May 7th, 2009

I hosted a Matilda Jane trunk show at my house last night. Most likely you’ve never heard of this company – I hadn’t, until a few weeks ago. When I saw their cute, original clothing line and heard they were based in Fort Wayne I was sold. So, last night a bunch of us women ate some delicious appetizers and looked at really cute little girls clothes. Niece London was a perfect model. Ella was done after trying on two things … what can you do? She’s a 2-year-old.

Anyway, here are some cute things:

Ella tried this on and it was ADORABLE. But Ella did not agree. She hated it, and I didn’t really know where she’d wear it, so we skipped on that one.

I wanted one of their “knot dresses” like this but none were left in her size. (It’s the end of their season so they’re selling out ….

So we bought this top. And it can also be worn as a skirt when she gets older. Many of their items have dual purposes.

Ella got this dress from Grandma, but it’s a smaller size and will be more like a shirt on Ella. It has the cutest ruffle across the back of the bottom too.

Anyway, we got another cute little cream-colored ruffly shirt I couldn’t find a photo of.

So the moral of this story is that having a girl + a love of shopping = very dangerous. Sorry Steve!

Those clothes are so cute. It sounds like Ella has a great start on her summer wardrobe.
