2 new books! Time to set the iPhone down
I just ordered two new books and I am very excited.
One is by comedien Mindy Kaling, a writer and actress on The Office, one of my favorite shows. And I just discovered she has a great blog here.
My other book is Lauren Conrad’s book Style. She got famous on MTV’s The Hills, but this girl has more style and class than most celebs, in my book. Anyway, I’m so obsessed with clothes, I even like to buy books about them these days, but there are worse hobbies right?

This app takes even cooler pics than my Macbook photobooth, because it gives them a special retro look. Love it.

Ella decided to write down all her friends’ names on a piece of paper one morning while we were driving. (She had me spell all their names.)
I don’t know what is more awesome, the fact that she has so many friends, that she turned their names into a cool little piece of art, or that she added mom, dad and Eva to the list. That kid is so cool.
(OK, I guess she added berry snacks to the list too, but still …)

My husband already posted some great photos on his blog here, but there are some not so perfect shots I like just as well.
Praying mantis. They’re so cool I’m almost not afraid of them.
Eva loves little creatures.
We walked a treacherous curvy highway and finally found some space to ride a bike. We love you Brown County park, but bike trails would be really great.
What one does, the other does.
It’s just so hard to get a photo where they are BOTH cooperating. Sigh.
And she’s off…
The lookout building, a.k.a. the castle, may have been Ella’s favorite thing.
Her favorite place to be, carried by mommy.
Two dirty girls take one last rest during our hike before we left for home. And dirty is an understatement.
